Description
Feel the energy of Moshi at night with this unique Kilimanjaro-themed event! The 5K fun run starts under the glow of lanterns and continues through scenic routes in town, giving runners a magical nighttime experience. After the run, the excitement continues at the Community Party featuring food stalls, live music, and glow-in-the-dark decorations.
Schedule:
- 6:00 PM: Registration and distribution of glow gear (glow sticks, wristbands, and t-shirts).
- 7:00 PM: Warm-up session with a fitness instructor and upbeat music.
- 7:30 PM: Night run begins — a 5K route through Moshi’s illuminated streets.
- 8:30 PM: Finish line celebration with live drumming and cheering.
- 9:00 PM: Community Party with local DJs, food stalls, and Kilimanjaro-themed cocktails.
- 11:00 PM: Event wraps up.
Extras: Prize giveaways for the best glow-themed outfit, photo booths, and a “Glow Bar” serving mocktails and cocktails.
